Medicare

At Neudle, psychology sessions with our psychologists are eligible for the following Medicare rebates:

$93.35 rebate for Registered Psychologists
$137.05 rebate for Clinical Psychologists

Rebates are not available for Provisional Psychologists

To access Medicare rebates, you will need a Mental Health Care Plan (MHCP) from your GP, referred to Neudle Psychology, and emailed to admin@neudle.com.au and/or uploaded to your intake form. To obtain your rebate in a timely manner, please arrange for your plan to be sent to us prior to your initial appointment. After your invoice is paid in full,  your Medicare rebate claim will be processed within two business day following your session.

Your Mental Health Care Plan will provide access to approximately ten psychology sessions within one calendar year. We are required to provide a report to your GP at sessions six and ten.

Medicare does not offer rebates for assessment costs, or for other services we provide such as groups.

NDIS

Neudle Psychology is not NDIS registered, but can provide our services to NDIS participants. Check with your Support Coordinator or Plan Manager to see if your plan can support you.

We provide pricing in-line with the NDIS Pricing Arrangement limits, with all 50-minute sessions charged at the rate of $214.41 for psychologists and $156.16 for provisional psychologists.

Private Health Insurance

You may be eligible to claim partial costs of the consultation fee if you hold private health insurance. Check with your insurer to see what is covered.

Any claims for private health insurance must be managed independently from Neudle. Your invoices can be accessed through your account on the Neudle Psychology Client Portal.
Note it is illegal to claim from both Medicare and private health insurance at the same time. You must only claim once for each session.

assessment

Neudle's affirming Therapeutic Assessment covers all aspects of neurodiversity. It is grounded in a therapeutic approach, and a minimum of three therapy sessions must be attended prior to accessing the following services. Each assessment is tailored to the individual, and the relevant services and costs will be estimated based on the specific goals discussed with us. Some clients may require further sessions to adequately address their needs. Visit our Services page for more information.

Full payment is required prior to the release of all assessment results and documentation.

Diagnostic Report

$1,100.00

The Diagnostic Report provides formal evidence of any resulting diagnoses of your therapeutic assessment. It includes a diagnostic letter signed by your clinician, which confirms the diagnoses, provides recommendations, and suggests accommodations. Also included is a brief background, the results from all measures completed, and a description of the specific diagnostic criteria met.

NDIS Evidence Report

$900.00

An NDIS Evidence Report is optionally available to clients with an eligible disability who need supporting documentation to access, and maintain access to, government support services such as NDIS. The relevant disability must be formally diagnosed; whether through diagnostic assessment at Neudle, or through another qualified health service. Our therapeutic assessment evaluates and describes the functional impacts of the relevant disability or disabilities, to demonstrate the need for ongoing disability services. The NDIS Evidence Report includes the results from all measures completed, with a brief personalised summary of what they mean.

Please note, this report requires an additional session to the standard three. This report can be bundled with other documentation for a discounted price:
- Diagnostic Report + NDIS Evidence Report: $1,650
- Diagnostic Report + NDIS Evidence Report + Personalised Neurodivergence Report: $2,000

Personalised Neurodivergence Report

$750.00

The Personalised Neurodivergence Report is written by the assessing clinician. It qualitatively describes your personal experience of neurodivergence, and goes beyond what is covered in the diagnostic and NDIS documentation. The report covers concepts not typically covered in the DSM / medical model, such as monotropism, double empathy, giftedness, PDA (persistent drive for autonomy), RSD (rejection sensitive dysphoria), over-excitabilities, positive disintegration, and other subjects you specifically require comment on.

The personalised information included in this report supports the formation of a deeper understanding of neurodivergence, how to properly support it, and how to advocate. This report is not essential to have a diagnosis recognised, and it is not specifically designed for NDIS, but it is an extremely valuable resource to help develop a better understanding of yourself and your needs.

This report can be bundled with other documentation for a discounted price:
- Diagnostic Report + Personalised Neurodivergence Report: $1,500
- Diagnostic Report + NDIS Evidence Report + Personalised Neurodivergence Report: $2,000
